Obituary

Betty Anderson passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2022. Mom to 5 great kids, at least that’s what we told her: Barb (Ted, deceased), Tracey (Bob), Casey (Aimee), Terri-Jo (Doug), Jackie Rae (Cliff); Nanny to 4 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.

Born in Mannville in 1920, Betty would move to Edmonton where she married Norman “Casey” Anderson. They eventually settled in St. Albert in 1960 where they would both become honourary life members for their extensive volunteering at the St. Albert Curling Club. Betty would also be inducted into the Alberta Amateur Softball Hall of Fame in 1988.

Retiring to Osoyoos in 1980, they would continue to golf and curl until Dads passing in 1997. Mom came home to Edmonton, and for the past 13 years she has lived at McConnell Place West. The care she received there was exemplary, and we encourage any donations to go to the CapitalCare Foundation. The family wants the staff to know how much we appreciate what you did for Mom.

Mom was kindness itself, so please, do something kind for someone today and everyday.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held.

In Loving Memory of
Elizabeth "Betty" Cecile Anderson
(Maiden: Mercer)
