Obituary
Sam Kravinchuk passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Edmonton at the age of 79.
Sam will be greatly missed by his children: Timothy, Christopher, and Jill; niece, Debra (Andrew) McNally and family; nephew, David (Christal Pshyk) Kravinchuk; extended family; and many close friends.
Sam is predeceased by his brother, Leonard; his sister, Iris Boytzun-Bowman; and his parents, Margaret (nee Kondra) and Samuel, Sr. He is survived by his brother, Daniel.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Ann Lee and staff from the Misericordia Family Medical Centre, Denise Andersen and staff from Castlewood Care Homes, and very special home-care aids Revie, Vina, and Mila for their unwavering care and compassion over many years.
The family welcomes all friends and colleagues of Sam’s 45+ year law practice to join them from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at The Pioneers Cabin, 9430 - 99 Street N.W. (Scona Road), Edmonton, to toast Sam’s life and have a few long-overdue laughs at his expense. Sam would expect nothing less.
