Obituary
GRIERSON, Willa May (nee Bruce)
September 1924 - June, 2022.
On June 28, 2022, Willa May Grierson passed away at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband, Ken; her parents, William and Lillie Bruce. She is survived by her children: Carol (Dennis), Wendy (José), Lynn (Ron) and Bruce (Jennifer); grandchildren: Kerri, Kathleen, Phil, Mike, Kaitlyn, Laura, Madeline, Lila; and 10 great grandchildren.
For most of her life Willa was an avid tennis player, bridge enthusiast, and golfer. She was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church, enjoyed many sports and social activities at the Royal Glenora Club, and cherished the time she spent at the family cabin on Pigeon Lake. She was a loyal volunteer at the Cross Cancer Hospital, and with Meals on Wheels.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Canterbury Foundation and the South Terrace Care Home for their patient, compassionate care for Willa over many years.
A private family burial will be held at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
