Obituary

Denise Degner 1965-2022

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Denise, at the age of 57. Denise was a very special lady who now dances with her Angels in Heaven.

Her early education program began at the Winnifred School at the age of three and went on to become very accomplished in reading and writing as well as banking and photography.

Some of her other accomplishments and loves in her life were social gatherings, church functions, family celebrations, and being actively employed in the community.

She absolutely loved bowling, dancing, and swimming, and won a gold medal at Special Olympics in Louisiana.

Denise and her roommate Ann Anema enjoyed over twenty years of semi-independent living in their own home under the compassionate guidance and support of Rehoboth Christian Ministry.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, Art and Sharen; siblings: Dean (Paula), Dale (Suzanne); nephews: Brendon (Isabel) Ryan, Justin; Nieces: Brooke, Hailey, and Reese; along with many more friends and relatives who always enjoyed her presence. She was a friend to everyone she met and a great inspiration to all.

Predeceased by her beloved roommate and friend Ann Anema, in July 2022.

Donations of remembrance made to Rehoboth Christian Ministries would be appreciated or to a charity of your choice.
