Obituary
Wm. ‘Alan’ Bell passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the age of 91 years.
Alan is survived by his wife, Alice (nee McGirr), cousins in Edmonton, Calgary, Ontario, and Scotland as well as Alice’s sister, Margaret Richards. He also leaves to mourn his passing Jim Tran, Thomas Tran, Thanh Truong and their families.
Alan was born and raised in Edmonton and enjoyed a long career with the Edmonton Public School Board. He was actively involved with the Boy Scouts, the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners clown unit and Grace United Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grace United Church, 6215 104 Ave, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Alan’s memory to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, 8440 112 St NW or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
