Obituary
Fran passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She fought a long and hard battle to stay with us and her struggle ended in the early morning hours of May 16, 2011.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 60 years, Stan; daughters, Mona (Don) Manchakowski and Anna-Marie (John); son, Stephen; sister, Maggie (Vic) DeFehr; Helen Stadnyk Bray; brother, Max Stadnyk; grandchildren, Kristin, Michael, Amanda, Spencer, Aimee and Jesse; great grandchildren, Jacob and Brooke; as well as numerous relatives and very good friends. Fran was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Margaret; sister, Mary; and brother, Billy.
A Celebration of Fran�s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 Street, Edmonton.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hari Channa and the staff at Norwood Palliative Care for their exceptional care and compassion.
