Obituary
On Friday, June 3, 2011 Iris Holman quietly slipped away from us at the age of 87 years. A native of Birmingham, England, Iris came to Canada in 1952 with husband, Fred, and their three children. Together, they moved to Devon, Alberta in 1955 and two more children soon joined the family. Iris will be lovingly remembered by her children Tony (Terry), Bonnie, Sylvia (Jim), Jennifer and Patricia (Tomas); 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her loving sisters, Mary (Ernie) and Joan (Roy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Iris was predeceased by Fred, her loving husband of 58 years. A service in celebration of Iris�s life will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George�s Anglican Church, 1 St. Clair Street in Devon, Rev. Emma Vickery officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Iris can be made to the St. George�s Anglican Church Maintenance Fund.
