Obituary

�So I went forth and finding the hand of God, trod gladly into the night.� On the morning of Saturday September 17, 2011, Lee Baronsfeather, at the age of 91 years, passed away peacefully at her home, after a struggle with cancer. Lee is survived by her son, Bruce Baronsfeather and her daughter, Barb (Vittorio) Calaresu; her grandson, Michael Calaresu and her granddaughter, Sheranda (Phil) Ghazal as well as great grandson, Philip Ghazal. Lee will also be missed by a number of extended family members. On January 12, 1942, Lee married William Nicol (Bill) Baronsfeather at Wesley United Church in Edmonton Alberta. The couple started a family and had three children (Barb, Bill Jr., and Bruce). Lee was pre-deceased by her husband, Bill, on April 5, 1976 and her son, Bill Jr., on June 4, 1990. Lee was born in Edmonton and attended Oliver, Garneau, and Scona Schools. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, housewife, volunteer, passionate gardener, artist, and avid sports fan. Lee deeply believed in family and God and this gave her the ability to meet and overcome the many adversities in her lifetime. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:30 p.m., at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (Cross Cancer Institute), 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton Alberta, T6G 1Z2 on Lee�s behalf.
