Obituary
On October 29, 2011, Wilhelmus �Bill� Van Barreveld of Edmonton passed away at 91 years old to be with his loving wife Geesje. Wilhelmus leaves behind his loving family. His wife Geesje of 53 years, predeceased Wilhelmus on October 4, 2001. Mom called Dad to come home on October 29, 2011 to be with her once again. Those surviving are Door Kruis (sister in Holland), Bill Van Barreveld, Richard and Helena Daley (nee Van Barreveld), Kees and Margrit Van Staveren (nee Van Barreveld); loving grand and great grandchildren, Dustin and Alexys Van Staveren and special friend Kristine, Matt, Natasha, Mikayla Gunderson (nee Van Staveren), Jasmine Van Staveren, Jamie, Jennifer, Rya and Evin Storrie, Tammy, Chloe, Brandon and Mathew Hok (nee Storrie). Special mention to George and Judy Boekholt , Willy DeHaan, Jo and Loos Van Beek, Tara Borle and Brad Williamson, Home Care, CDI, Yellow Team Misericordia Hospital and the Specialized Staff at the Norwood Palliative Care Unit who were Dad�s �Angels from Heaven�, for all of your support and providing the best of care for dad. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so during a Visitation to be held from 7:00 p.m. � 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral home (Downtown Chapel) as well. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. For those who wish to do so, charitable donations in memory of Wilhelmus �Bill� Van Barreveld may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
