Obituary
On July 30, 2012, Gary Murphy passed away at the age of 69 years.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years Louise; son, Dave; daughter, Elizabeth (Mike); and cherished grandchildren, Robyn, Brendan and Taylor. Gary is also survived by three nephews, Jim, Tom and Doug; sister in-law, Sunshine; as well as numerous friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Ivan and mother, Beatrice; and sisters, Donna and Patricia.
Gary�s five year battle with Multiple System Atrophy was truly heroic and an inspiration to us all.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the U of A Hospital on unit 5D3.
A Celebration of Gary�s Life will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home located at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park-Mill Woods Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. (Meridian Street can only be accessed heading SOUTH on Hwy 216/Hwy 14 (Anthony Henday) the access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Freeway on Hwy 216).
In keeping with Gary�s wishes please come casually dressed.
