Obituary

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend on December 25th after a short illness.

Walter will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife June, his son Jack and daughter-in-law Caroline, and grandchildren Andrew, Luke, Julianna, and Veronica. Walter is also survived by his sisters Evelyn Mann and Irene Yewchuk and many nieces and nephews.

Walter was born, raised, and lived his life in Edmonton. He was a graduate of the University of Alberta, and went on to work in many roles for the Provincial Government. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling, puttering around the house, and spending quality time with family and friends. Walter was known for his dry sense of humor, love of cars, and the quest for a perfect lawn.

A service in celebration of Walters life will be held on Friday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street with Reverend Bob Peel officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. In memory of Walter, donations to The Stroke Clinic at the University of Alberta Hospital c/o the University Hospital Foundation (Donor Centre, 1H1.91 WMC, 8440-112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2B7) are gratefully appreciated.

Following the service, a reception will be held at the Faculty Club located at 11435 Saskatchewan Drive from 2 pm to 5 pm.

In Loving Memory of
Walter Panteluk
