Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of George Abma announces his passing on December 31 2012 at the age of 84 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy Abma; children, Sid (Ellen) Abma, Adrian (Ann) Abma, Ron (Gretha) Abma, Rick (Margaret) Abma, Carolyn Steendam; son-in-law, Ralph Steendam; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, John (Hilda) Abma, Dave (Mae) Abma, Hilda Smid, Orval (Jennie) Abma; and numerous relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the West End Christian Reformed Church, 10015 149 Street, Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emmanuel Home, 13429 - 57 Street, Edmonton, T5A 0T8.
