Obituary
On April 7 2013, loving father and husband, Pieter �Case� Koene age 88, passed away to be in the loving arms of God. He was born in Wormerveer Netherlands to Gerardus and Elisabeth Koene where he grew up before immigrating to Canada with his beautiful wife Maria in 1958.
Case is survived by his wife and best friend of 60 years, Maria �Mae�, of Edmonton, AB. He was proud and loving father to Ryan (Wendy), grandson Tyler of Edmonton; daughter Heather (Rudy) Villasenor of San Francisco, California; sons Lennox (Suzie), grandson Malakai and Garfield Andrews of Edmonton; brother Hans (Annika) of Wormerveer, Netherlands, as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and great friends.
A private burial will take place at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, in Edmonton. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey located at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park- Mill Woods Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian St., Edmonton (must be heading SOUTH on Hwy 216).
Donations in memory of Case may be made to St. Joseph's Auxilary Hospital, Palliative Ward.
