Obituary
Bennie passed away peacefully at Grandview Capital Care at the age of 93 years.
She will be fondly remembered by her son, Don (Penny); grandsons, Michael (Courtney) and Trevor; as well as extended family and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Trevor; brother, Goldie; and sisters, Queenie and Shirley.
Bennie graduated from nursing in Fort William. It was there that she met Trevor while working as a nurse in the Canada Car Works. After the war, they moved to Edmonton where Bennie worked at the University of Alberta Hospital in Surgery and the Outpatient Clinic. Bennie was active in Kinettes, enjoyed dancing, curling, bridge, travelling, and especially socializing at their cottage on Pigeon Lake. She had a love of animals and had many family pets over the years.
