Obituary
Gezina Peters of Edmonton passed away in her sleep to wake up with the Lord on October 26, 2013, Psalm 139: 18b.
She left us suddenly and we grieve her deeply. Gezina was the loving mother of daughter, Rita (Henk) Van Dooren and son, Hank (Idelle). Mom was the BEST grandmother to her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Nieske Huisenga in Holland; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Gezina was predeceased by her loving husband, Jan (John) in August 1985.
Visitations will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. Graveside Service on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 10132 - 163 St., Edmonton at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Providence Canadian Reformed Church, 12905 - 122 Avenue, Edmonton.
Memorial donations in memory of Gezina may be directed to the Association for Reformed Political Action.
