Obituary

It is with sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy on Tuesday in Edmonton.

She will be lovingly missed by her son, Ken (Sonia) of Red Deer; granddaughter, Karen of Edmonton; sister-in-law, Lorraine Milne of Calgary; niece, Arlene (Hal) Krahn of Winnipeg and nephew, Gary (Donna) Milne of Winnipeg.

She was predeceased by her husband, Doug; daughter, Karen; brothers, Jim and Bill Milne; and sister-in-law, Violet Milne.

Dorothy was an enthusiastic participant in baseball, hockey and paddling in her youth in Winnipeg. She always enjoyed her yard and garden and spent much time puttering around the flowers.

Dorothy was an avid traveller with her husband, travelling the world as well as enjoying ocean cruises and canal barges in Europe.

She was active socially at the Royal Glenora Club for many years. As well, Dorothy gave freely of her time as a volunteer for a number of organizations.

At Dorothys request, there will be no service or memorial. Cremation has taken place and Dorothy will join her husband Doug and daughter Karen in the family plot in Winnipeg.
