Obituary
On September 22, 2014, John Martyn passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in Edmonton.
He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Marguerite; sons, Michael Martyn (Karen) and David Martyn (Christy); four grandchildren, Evan and Noah, Kesena and Rya; two sisters, Olga Shostak and Irene Pisesky as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Michael and Ksenia Martyn, his brother Arthur Martyn and nephew Martin Shostak.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday September 29, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. A private interment is to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute11560-University Avenue, Edmonton, T6G 1Z2.
The family gratefully acknowledges the care received from Dr. Murtha and staff at the Cross Cancer Institute; Palliative Home Care, and St. Joseph�s Palliative Unit.
