Frances Graham

Obituary

With heavy hearts the family announces that Fran Graham passed away on April 25, 2015 after a long hard battle with cancer.

Fran was born on November 8, 1938. She went to school, married and raised her children in Edmonton.

She is fondly remembered and survived by her sons, David Graham (Bev Park) and Daniel Graham; brother, Edward Ryziuk; brother in-law, Jim (Darlene) Graham; sisters-in-law, Jenny Ryziuk and Diane Graham; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Graham; parents, Eudokia (Doris) and Dmytro (Dave) Ryziuk; in-laws, Dave and Lily Graham; brother, Bill Ryziuk; sister, Marion Brewster; brother-in-law, Ivan Brewster and sister-in-law, Olga Ryziuk.

Fran will be remembered for her many talents especially for her tremendous skill in gardening and painting. She won hundreds of awards, trophies and ribbons. She was a past member of the Edmonton Horticultural Society & the African Violet Society.

A special thank you to Dr. Charles Butt at the Cross Cancer Institute for his care and kindness to Fran while she battled cancer.

All are invited to a Memorial Service for Fran at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
