Obituary

On May 29, a brilliant ray of light finally found her way to a peaceful home. With the soul of a true artist, Amber faced the many challenges of her 69 years with passion and alacrity. Grounded and unwaveringly supported by her mother, Lillian Pheasey, who predeceased her by six months, Ambers remarkable free spirit can now soar, untethered. She is survived by many loving, and devoted friends; her brother, George Pheasey (Andrea); two nephews, Tom (Heather) and Alex (Shannon); and their children, Annika, Jackson, Liam, Simon, Sophia, and Eleanor. Amber will also be missed by her many friends and extended family at the General Continuing Care Centre where she made her home for the past six years.

A Celebration of Ambers life will be held in Edmonton at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 10037-84 Avenue, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:30am. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in honour of Amber may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Thank you to everyone at the General Continuing Care Centre for the special care they showed Amber during her time there; and we are so grateful for the kindness and consideration of Danean and all the staff of 9C in Ambers final days
