Obituary
 
It is with great sadness and loss that we mourn the sudden, unexpected passing of Christopher James Daniels born 06 February 1983. Chris passed away in Edmonton AB on 26 September 2016. Chris was a member of the Smith Landing First Nation.

Chris is survived by his mother Suzette Haslam Rouleau; his father Fred Daniels and siblings; Amy (Diana) Harris, Andrew (Amanda) Grenier, Valarie Grenier, J.R. Daniels, Nichole (Benoi Oracion) MacLeod, Anyssa Grenier-Daniels, Christina Pyne, Ocean (Mike Misch) Grenier, Russell Ferris and his Uncles; Vern Rowe, John Rowe, James Haslam, Jonathan (Erin) Haslam, Sean (Libby) Haslam, Aunts; Jackie Haslam, Tibiki Nimki, Sheri (William) Haslam Easterbrook and so many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandfather Joseph Daniels, grandmother, Katherine Daniels (Mercredi), his Uncle Ken Haslam and his stepfather Carlo Rouleau.

Christopher was born in Yellowknife NT and grew up in Fort Smith NT, attending JBT Elementary and PWK High. Chris was a loving child. He was shy and smart with a sweet disposition. He grew up to be a very handsome young man. Chris had a wonderful sense of humor and was very adventurous. He had a caring nature for other people and was in a constant search for joy and meaning his life's journey.

Chris will be fondly missed by so many family and friends.
