October 03, 1918, Utrecht, Netherlands October 20, 2016, Edmonton, Alberta On October 20, 2016, Christina Van Spengen, our beloved Mom, went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 98 years. She will always be lovingly remembered by her family, Christina (Herman) Berkenbosch, Lynn (Herb) De Hoog, Louie (Irene) Van Spengen, Jo (Dan) Van Berkel; daughter-in-law Shirley Van Spengen; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Christina was predeceased by her husband Karel Rudolph; son Carl Rudolph; and siblings, Ko Eimers and Tom Eimers. Christina was born in Utrecht, Netherlands and immigrated with her husband and four children to Canada in 1952, where their fifth child was born. Her love for God and family were central to her life. A private graveside service will be held at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, Edmonton, Alberta. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at West End Christian Reformed Church, 10015 - 149 Street NW, Edmonton Alberta.
