Fran "Gramma Gramma" Frost cracked her last joke on July 21, 2017, not long before losing a short but unflinching battle with cancer, waged on her own terms. During her time at the Misericordia Hospital, she managed to locate the best-looking nurses, doctors, and aides and tried her best to put a smile on all their faces. Her family appreciates their efforts to make her comfortable. Her love and wit will be missed by the apples of her eye, her grandsons Justin, Logan, Harrison, and Sawyer. She will also be remembered by her equally cheeky daughters and their good natured husbands, Rebecca (Paul), Jackie (Jay), and Jennifer (Ted). She was a true warrior who refused to take shit from anyone.

At Fran's insistence, and under threat of haunting her girls, there will be no funeral service. Instead, she wants to be laid to rest with the killer whales of BC. For friends who want to pay tribute to Fran, it would have pleased her to know that a memorial donation was made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
