Obituary
 
Amy Olson passed away peacefully at the Foyer Lacombe Hospice, St. Albert on June 13, 2018 at the age of 84 years.

She is survived by her loving children; Kathy (Gord), Lloyd (Karen), Joanne (Allan); brother, Tom (Mary), ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband Murray; son Donald; parents: Charles and Thelma; siblings: Joan, Jack, Thelma, William.

Amy enjoyed a fulfilling career in nursing after graduating from Edmonton�s Misericordia Hospital and later earning a BSc in Nursing from the University of Alberta. When she retired she became very active singing with the Groovy Gang and quilting with the local guild. She enjoyed reading, practicing yoga, long walks, entertaining, travelling and spending time with her family.

One of Amy�s outstanding qualities was her ability to bring people together. Family was everything to her. She was the heart and soul of our extended clan and she will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Albert Seniors Center.
