Aaltje (Alice) Borst

Obituary

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Alice went home to her Heavenly Father at the age of 90.

Alice was born in Den Helder, the Netherlands, on July 17, 1928. In 1952 she married her love Ameling Borst and together had three children.

Alice made an inviting, warm and loving home for her family, extended family and friends. She was always caring, and generous. She enjoyed flowers and singing, and had a passion for people, especially children. Alice�s love for her family, her friends, and her church community could be seen through her smile, words, warm embrace, sense of fairness and of course food. Alice�s servant heart, was a true reflection of her love for her Saviour Jesus.

Alice will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Henk Borst & Angela Price. Henk�s children, Karston, Travis & Courtney and their son Harrison, and Kyle, Angela�s children Zachary and Dylan, Cathy King the mother of Karston, Travis and Kyle; Jerry & Audrey Borst and their children, Michael, Colin & Melissa and their son Winston, and Kevin & Alyssa; Jeannette & Henry Van Rootselaar and their children, David & Joyce, Melanie & Justin, and Steven.

Alice is also remembered by her sister Dien Vinke and sister in law Wilma Kuipers.

Alice was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Ameling in 2005, her great grandchild Ellie, her parents Hendrik & Johanna Kuipers, sisters Annie and Gerda and brother Gerry.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening at Foster and McGarvey Downtown Chapel 10011 � 114 Street Edmonton

Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery, 10132 � 163 Street in Edmonton, Friday October 12th at 1:00 in the afternoon

The memorial service will be held following interment at 2:00 at Covenant Christian Reformed Church 19010 � 87 Avenue, Edmonton
