Andrew passed away peacefully in his 103rd year on November 20, 2018.

Andrew was born to Margaret and Douglas Watson in their family home in Bonnie Doon, Edmonton. He grew up swimming in Mill Creek and playing in the ravine woods. His love of the outdoors, sports and travel was shared with his beloved wife, Marjorie Delta until her death in 2008. Andrew is survived by his daughter, Catherine Watson; his son, Scott Watson (Kathy); and his three grandsons, Justin, Mark and Brent. Numerous cousins are spread throughout Great Britain, Canada and the USA.

Andrew enlisted with the 1st Battalion, Edmonton Fusiliers in 1940 and served overseas with the Lorne Scots Regiment during World War II. He was a longtime member of Acacia Lodge No.11 and the Scottish Rite Freemasonry. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Scotland.

He worked for over 30 years with Veterans Affairs Canada as a hospital administrator for the Alberta and Northwest Territories District.

A Celebration of Andrew�s life will be held at 3pm on December 22, 2018 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Homes, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.
