Obituary
 
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the May 21, 2021 passing of our precious mom at the age of 92. Born on the family homestead near Calgary, Alberta, Margaret attended Mount Royal College in the 1940’s. After marrying Stanley in 1950, they moved to Edmonton where they lovingly raised their 7 children. Margaret is survived by her children Carol (Gerald), Dianne (James), Sharon (Denny), Katherine, Albert, and Jean (Scott); and her grandchildren Bryan, Duncan (Melanie), Jillian, Alana, Jackson and Madalyn. She is predeceased by her loving husband Stanley, daughter Ellen, her parents and siblings. Margaret will be forever loved and greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr Blais, Dr Melynka and the staff at UAH pulmonary unit 5E3 for their care and compassion. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clare Catholic Church, 6310-118 Avenue, Edmonton, on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a memorial donation may do so directly to a charity of their choice.
