Ronald Miller

Obituary

On July 3, 2011, Ronald Harry Miller of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years. Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret in 1990; sister, Dorothy in 1993, and twin brother, Roy in 2008. He is survived by his five children, Phyllis and her husband, Roger Ring of Campbell River, BC; Ron and his wife, Jackie of Edmonton; Barbara and her husband, Scott Martin of Edmonton; Jean Pallister and her significant other, Ron Wilhauk of Stony Plain; Jim and his wife, Carol of Edmonton as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ron enjoyed many years as a Freemason in several Masonic lodges and received his 50 Year Jewel from Empire Lodge #63 in 2001. The family wishes to thank the staff of Canterbury Court and Unit 3B, Capital Care Dickinsfield for their caring support of Dad over the last nine years. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 Street, Edmonton. Visitation will be held for one hour prior. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 10132-163 Street. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 � 124 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5M 0H9.
