Obituary
 
Ethel passed away peacefully at the age of 96 years. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Algie Brown. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joyce; nephew, Robert Volkmann; nieces, Dorothy Gaume, Betty Smith, Helen Friesen, Carolyn Secret and Sharon Volkmann. Ethel was also predeceased by her brother, John Fife. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Kirk United Church, 13535 � 122 Avenue, Edmonton with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 5420 � 106 Street, Edmonton. A special Thank you to Laurie Hilden and Jane Salazan for their many years of care and compassion and to the nursing staff on unit 11Y at the Edmonton General. In memory of Ethel, donations may be made to the Alzheimer�s Society, 10531 � Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5H 4K1, or to a charity of your choice.
